From Doctor to Mascot to Filmmaker

Christopher Bruce did not set out to become a filmmaker. He headed to the University of Delaware with medicine in mind — until he became the school’s mascot, the Fighting Blue Hen, and everything changed. That unexpected detour led to an internship with the Philadelphia Eagles, a collaboration with the man behind the original Philly Phanatic, and performances for a USBL basketball team coached by Darryl "Chocolate Thunder" Dawkins and partly owned by Larry Holmes. One thing led to another, and Bruce found himself immersed in a world of performance and sports entertainment — learning how to connect with an audience and think outside the rules.
