Jennifer Covert, Executive Director of Meals on Wheels of Eastern Onondaga County, explained that anyone can sign up for meal delivery for as little as $10 a day. That covers two meals, brought hot to your door — often for less than what it would cost to shop and cook yourself. For those who qualify for assistance programs, the cost can be even lower. It’s a service that’s more accessible than most people think, and Jennifer wants the community to know the door is open.
