The Vineyard Church takes their Feed My Starving Children partnership beyond packing meals by organizing mission trips to witness the impact firsthand. The church strategically aligns these trips with areas receiving their packed meals, allowing volunteers to travel to distribution sites and personally hand out food to children. Three to four years ago, a group from the church traveled to Guatemala to feed kids directly, and this May, they plan to send 15 to 20 people to the Dominican Republic to experience the same connection. Executive Pastor Ben Taylor explains that while he has not yet participated in a mission trip himself, the opportunity to pack meals in Syracuse and know they reach children across the world is incredibly rewarding. The ability to later distribute those same MannaPack meals to kids in person creates a full circle moment that brings the global impact of their local efforts to life.
