When Chef Don Agate and his wife decided to open a restaurant in the middle of a pandemic, the banks were not impressed. The first one kept them for 45 minutes just to tell them how bad of an idea it was. They were rejected four times before finally finding a lender willing to take a chance on them.
That leap of faith became Good Eats & Sips, which opened in Skaneateles, New York in June of 2020 — and the rest is history.
