He went on to become a key player for Syracuse Universityâs football team, earning a reputation as a versatile and relentless linebacker. His time at Syracuse laid the foundation for a professional career that saw him drafted in the 3rd round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins, later playing for the Houston Texans as well.
But Morlon’s legacy isnât just about stats and sacks â itâs about resilience, leadership, and giving back. Today, he continues to inspire through the Morlon Greenwood Foundation, supporting youth through mentorship and education, especially those from underserved communities.
